10 ways to participate in InnovaCamp No.5 – Register!

One of the most complicated things in organising this type of event is knowing how many people will be attending and being able to arrange everything so the event runs as smoothly as possible with all technical parts catered for. For this reason we are asking you to sign up as soon as possible if you are going to attend InnovaCamp. If you are going to present, we need to know your tech needs. If you want to present via video-conference etc we also need to plan for this.

INNOVACAMP MEDITERRANE@ IS FREE TO ATTEND – PLEASE REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Click on the link above

It is also very important to know how many people will be requiring lunch – innovating is hungry & thirsty work! Here are the details:

Mediterranean lunch – a taste of innovation

Let’s face it – innovating is hard work and needs lots of stimulation and sustenance. So when we started planning InnovaCamp we looked around for an innovative caterer who could excite the senses with their culinary creations. And we were lucky to find Picoplato – a company that uses the Internet to publicise itself through the Picoplato webpage & blog. They understood our proposal immediately and Chef Marc Joli who has worked with Ferran Adri amongst many others, constructed this mouth-watering menu which reflects the cuisine of the region especially for InnovaCamp Mediterrane@.

If you want to taste this innovative interpretation of the flavours and scents of the countries around the Mediterranean sea on May 23rd, register here the lunch costs just €15

Pass it on…

We are all involved in groups & networks and know people who might be interested in InnovaCamp.

We want to examine innovation in the Mediterranean region – when people talk of innovation they invariably talk about the Scandanavian countries, the North of Europe, the US & Canada and Asia. But what about the South of Europe – what’s going on here?

Please contact all of those you think may be interested in your professional or social networks – together we probably have contacts all over the region. Pass it on…

Scratch Català at InnovaCamp

Imagine, create, program with Scratch

innovacamp-ing.jpg

Scratch is an application developed by MIT which allows the teaching of computing program concepts to kids and adults in a fun, easy and quick interface, providing good results in a very short time.

It use coloured blocks as code instructions, which have to be joined together to create animations, games and art, the only limit is your imagination.

This tool, used in many countries, is growing in us in Catalonian schools. Find out more at http://scratchcatala.com

Here is a great example of a game created for St. George’s Day – game on!
